CNRF is focused on integrating excellence in research together with patient care.  In fact, care and innovation go hand in hand.  CNRF collaborates with scientists and health professionals around the world so as to create a strong network of people and information in order to deliver the best care to our patients.Through our Research and Collaboration program, CNRF is working on a mechanism to standardize data across South Asia by indicators such as geography, type of neurological disorder, and so on.  As a result, we will be able to analyze data by geography for example.  This can serve as a very powerful tool in identifying certain patterns, trends or characteristics of various disorders. To know more about the research programs, please visit the Cajal Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences. Moreover, CNRF also promotes interdisciplenary research between various departments such as Department of Neurology, Department of Psychiatry, Department of Neuroradiology and Neurophysiology, Department of Mental Health & Rehabilitation and Department of Neurorehabilitation.

Since its inception, CNRF has succesfullly expanded its educational awareness program so as to bring in children from remote/rural areas for treatment and residence stay during their treatment program free of cost. In order to increase collaboration and exchange among the brightest and most dedicated scientists around the globe, CNRF hopes to reinforce its collaboration and research initiatives with specialised hospitals abroad such as ones in United States as well as Europe so as to expand its network and facilitate further discussion and participation.
