Cajal Dreams Educational Scholarships (CDES)
CNRF believes it is vital to support and encourage young students, especially those with disabilities, to follow their dreams and to make the most of their aspirations. In an effort to help these bright students shape their dreams, CNRF has initiated a very special scholarship program. Starting in the year 2008, CNRF organised painting and essay competition for special needs educational institutions in India. From the schools which participated, 5 students were selected, out of which two were chosen to be awarded CDES, which included a citation, medal, monthly scholarship to support their educational expenses for the academic year 2008-09 plus a one time stipend. Moreover, other three students were also given prizes and cash awards.
